• Description:

  The piston ring is placed within the groove around the outer diameter of the piston in your engine. It is used to seal gases within the piston chamber, transfer heat to the piston wall and helps regulate the oil used by the engine. This piston ring fits a 2007 and 2008 Chrysler 300, Aspen, 2007 and 2008 Dodge Charger, Durango, Magnum, Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 2007 and 2008 Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee. Because this is a performance part, you want to use a part that has been designed to meet the requirements of the factory. OEM parts are designed to deliver the right performance. Aftermarket parts that are universal are not optimized to meet the factory specifications.
